Millington Central High School is a comprehensive school with university, career and technical curriculums. With an enrollment of 1,500 students, Millington Central employs more than 80 teachers and 30 auxiliary personnel. The campus includes eight buildings and an on-site football field.
The high school has a significant technology program and a state-of-the-art distance-learning program that offers a variety of electronic courses for students through the World Wide Web and from other schools.
Millington High School is known state wide for a number of other firsts. For example, the school was the first in Shelby County to be accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. In 1999, Millington Central became the first school in Shelby County to have computers with Internet access in every classroom.

Woodstock Middle School

Located southwest of Millington, Woodstock includes grades 6-8. Renovated in 2000, it has 45 teaching stations, a computer lab, a computer training center, two science labs, as well as art, music and instrumental class rooms and a gym.

Millington Elementary School opened in August, 2004 to replace Millington East and Millington South Elementary Schools with a projected enrollment of approximately 829 students in grades K-5. The one-story school building has the capacity for 1,000 students with sixty-four (64) teaching stations which include: a computer lab, a learning center, art and music classrooms, plus a gymnasium. Eight (8) classrooms are provided for students with special needs. A school-wide computer data network is provided. Every instructional space has internet access.
The library and administrative offices are located in the center of the building to provide easy access for students and parents. The library has an internet research station and utilize a computer based chech-out/chech-in system. The cafetorium includes a platform area for programs and performances. Passenger car and bus traffic is separated on the campus for safety. School hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

"Home of the Hornets" E.A. Harrold serves approximately 400 students in grades K-5. Tanya Mabry is the Principal and School Hours are from 8:45 a.m. until 3:45 p.m. Directions to E.A. Harrold are once in Millington, go North on Highway 51. Turn left at stoplight onto Wilkinsville Rd. (Walmart is on the left) the school is .04 miles on the left.
E.E. Jeter Elementary

On a campus located in Shelby Forest, E.E. Jeter provides education for grades kindergarten through fifth. The E.E. Jeter community is steeped in tradition and history with third and fourth generation students attending. Enrollment in 2001 was 272.
Lucy Elementary

Lucy Elementary serves the residents of the rapidly growing Lucy community just south of Millington. With an enrollment nearing 500 in kindergarten through fifth grade, Lucy Elementary employs 29 full-time teachers, 4 part-time teachers, and two administrators. A new state-of-the-art building was opened in January 2002. Building on a rich educational heritage, the Lucy Elemetary School community continues the tradition of excellence.
