A mayor and a seven-member Board of Aldermen govern the City of Millington. The Board meets at 7 pm on the first Monday of each month at the City Council Chamber. Millington City Hall is located at 7930 Nelson Street or phone (901) 872-2211 or visit www.ci.millington.tn.us

Committees/Boards:

Airport Authority Board of Commissioners: This board includes a chairman, the airport manager and 8 members. It meets at 9 a.m. on the second Friday of each month at the Terminal Building.

City Beautiful Commission: This eighteen member board works to keep Millington beautiful. The group gives away trees, acts as an informational resource agency, and provides contests to motivate volunteers to keep Millington beautiful. Phone 872-2211.

Industrial Development Board: an executive director leads this seven-member board. It meets at 4:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month.

Planning Commission: Meets on 3rd Thurday. 5:00 pm, 7 members
