St. Francis Hospital - Memphis

Baptist Memorial Hospital, in near-by Memphis, is regarded as one of the nation's premier hospitals for both their experienced medical staff and their world-renowned research programs. Owned by Baptist Memorial Healthcare Corporation, over 45,000 patients a year come from all across the Mid-South to be treated. For six years running, they have won the Consumer Choice Award by National Research Corp. It is a teaching hospital closely affiliated with the University of Tennessee. This hospital was recently named one of the top 100 private companies in Memphis by The Memphis Business Journal. The Delta Medical Center offers 24 hour emergency room, surgery and acute medical care. Their mission is to provide quality, cost-efficient healthcare. LeBonheur Childrens Medical Center

International known Le Bonheur is the Mid-South's only children's hospital attracting patients and their children from 95 counties in six states. Regional Medical Center at Memphis

Known as "The Med" to Memphis-area residents, this facility has made a name with centers for excellence which include a Burn Center, High Risk Obstetrics, Newborn Center, Trauma Center, Wound Care Center, and Birthplace. At The Elvis Presley Memorial Trauma Center, a 24-hour trauma team includes trauma surgeons, nurses, anesthesiologists, CRNA's, medical students, respiratory therapists, orderlies, x-ray and lab technicians. The Med is the regional referral center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. It is the only full-service burn center in 150-miles. The High Risk Obstetrics delivers more than 3,600 babies and about 25 percent of them are considered high-risk. In addition, some 1,300 premature or critically ill newborns are treated each year. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

Memphis’ internationally known St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is one of the world's centers for research and treatment of catastrophic diseases in children, especially pediatric cancers. Patients are accepted by physician referral. Over 4,000 children are seen at St. Jude each year, coming from the United States and 60 foreign countries. The hospital has 56 beds for patients requiring hospitalization during treatment but the majority of the children are treated as outpatients as part of ongoing research. A fund-raising arm of St. Jude covers all costs of care beyond those reimbursable by third party payments and total costs when no insurance is available. Even assistance with transportation and local living expenses can be provided by their fund-raising group. The University of Tennessee Bowld Hospital

The UT Bowld Hospital is the university’s teaching hospital in Memphis. UT's faculty and students provide healthcare to the community. UT's Bowld Hospital cares for a variety of healthcare needs. A 127 bed hospital facility, UT Bowld Hospital is where some of the most advanced medical procedures, such as kidney, liver, and pancreas transplantation were first available in the Mid-South. It was the second hospital to perform liver transplants in the country. They provide patient care, research and education. Millington’s Branch Medical Clinic is a part of Naval Support Activity Mid-South and provides outpatient health care and health related services for Active Duty and their family members. They also provide occupational health care for base employees.
