Garbage Service

Millington provides two curb garbage pickups per week for household garbage and two pick-ups per week for rubbish for a monthly fee of $12.00. Also included in the monthly fee is the pickup of trash (other than garbage). This includes tree limbs, grass clippings, boxes and many other items.

The sanitation department provides a 95-gallon container for each single-family residence. Recycle bins are available at the public works department parking lot for newspaper, tin, aluminum and plastic. The bins are accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

There is also a recycling program for used oil, gas, and antifreeze. These items must be brought to the public works building Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
